We are a community of Filipino tech professionals, students and enthusiasts in Canberra with a shared mission to provide a warm and nurturing space where each member can grow and thrive.

Our Objectives
Our objectives include:
- providing a platform to network with peers, share experiences and ideas, and collaborate within the Filipino Tech Community in the ACT,
- enabling and upskilling Filipino professionals/advocates/students to broaden/deepen their tech knowledge and skills, advance their careers, and remain relevant with the fast-pace developments in the ICT industry, and
- supporting Filipino migrants and ACT residents wanting to start a career in ICT.

FTCC was founded to elevate Filipino ICT professionals in Australia as leaders, not just doers, by enabling through education, supporting through training and workshops, connecting them to the right people, and celebrating their contributions to Australian companies and industries through the spirit of Bayanihan.

The idea of FTCC stemmed from my desire to give back to the community. And I was fortunate to find people who shared the same passion, which is to help others and create a support network for ICT Professionals in Australia - and that’s how we launched the Filipino Tech Community Canberra. My hope is that we help build the next workforce and leaders in ICT who excel not only in their domain or specialisation, but are actively taking a role in shaping an inclusive, equitable, and nurturing tech industry in Australia.

Keen to join our community? Joining is quite simple really. Here are some information regarding membership and application process.
Membership Benefits
Members get to enjoy the benefits of being in a nurturing, inspiring and collaborative community. Member-only programs provide career-building tools, networking potentials and mentorship opportunities.
Eligibility
Must have the following these credentials:
- firstly, an applicant needs to be Filipino or of Filipino decent;
- secondly, applicant has to be one of these: tech professiona, ICT student, or tech enthuasiast.
Membership Process
Membership form is provided for applicants and a yearly membership fee of $1 or $2 is required.
